Job Purpose:

Creating fabrication models from client drawings / models and creating shop details from those models. Performing laser scanning and merging of laser scans.

Responsibilities:

Creating fabrication ready models from client drawings / models. Create shop detail drawings from fabrication models.
Creating DXF's, cutting lists and other deliverables from fabrication models.
Liaising with project managers to determine fabrication requirements for modelling. Performing laser scanning on site.Merging and cleaning up of laser scans.

Profile

Knowledge:

Draughting and 3D Modelling Qualifications National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

2-3 years 3D modelling and draughting SolidWorks experience
