Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidates duties and responsibilities as listed but not limited to the points below.

• Preparation of designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor, and ensuring that design drawings conform to specifications.
• Produce drawings within appropriate timescale and to a high level of quality. / Works systematically to ensure completion of tasks to meet deadlines and clients expectations.
• Ensure that all drawings and procedures are kept.
• Ensure works carried out in accordance with the necessary specifications and that the company monitoring procedures are adhered to.
• Create Assembly drawings to ensure fitment of parts and carry out material take offs and prepare material lists (BOM)
• Ensure the registers are maintained and make improvements to the processes where necessary.
• Work under the supervision of the Drawing Office Manager, Product Engineer or Senior Draughtsman.
• Use Autodesk Inventor and AutoCad design software to create 3D and 2D technical drawings.
• Make changes to drawings based on the recommendations of the Drawing Office Manager, Product Engineer, Sales department and customers.
• Ability to produce clear and informative production drawings and technical information.
• Drawing office duties. (Filing, issuing of drawings)

• Site visits will be required.
• 3D scanning, software analysis and reporting

• Associate degree or certificate in drafting
• Essential Drafting background and suitable qualifications
• Experience in the mining, engineering, foundry or other relevant field will be an advantage.
• Proficient with Autodesk Inventor software (5 years minimum)
• Experience with AutoCAD software
• Proficient in 3D scanning & software packages will be an advantage.
• Experience using MS Office package.
• Mathematics skills
• Attention to detail
