Job purpose: To produce engineering drawingsLocation: Spartan, JohannesburgJob description:Draughting:Creating sales drawings (GA drawings)Draughting function, when required:o Create 3D models and GA drawings of cylinderso Create 3D models and GA drawings of manifold blockso Hydraulic circuits and parts listo Design cylinderso Design manifold blockso Design hydraulic power packso Reverse engineer hydraulic componentso Update drawings and parts listo Completion of Engineering Change Notices (ECN)Administrative Functions:Drawing register controlFollow-up on any queries on Engineering jobsFollow-up on progress of specific jobsLiaise with various stakeholdersClient liaisonTechnical support to other departmentsGenerating quotes for products and systems to be manufacturedA test will be conducted after the interview which will test software capabilities and technical ability in the subdisciplines of cylinders, manifolds and power packsSkills and Requirements:Grade 12 (Matric) / N5 CertificateMechanical Design Diploma or Draughting certificationMinimum 5 years experience as a DraughtsmanAutoCAD experience (Desired) and Autodesk inventor experience (Essential)MD Tools (Advantageous)Hydraulic experience essential
