The Role

Knysna company designing and manufacturing

high-quality kitchens and furniture

seeks the services of an experienced Interior Designer.

Personal Portfolio required of completed designs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ability to produce high quality and precise technical drawings related to retail design. Owning the design process from initial consultation to the final stage. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements Create innovative design concepts and detailed plans Source materials, furnishings, and decor that align with the project vision Oversee project implementation, ensuring quality and timelines are met Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices

Skills and Experience

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience in interior design (degree in Interior Design or related field preferred) Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) AutoCAD is particularly important Driver's licence with own vehicle Excellent communication and project management skills Have a great understanding of technical design, finishes, hardware etc. Good understanding of materiality - types of materials used in different applications in building. Be able to work in a team as well as independently. Very good listening skills and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills A keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity Respect for differing opinions, styles and financial situations,
