Job Description
We are a young married couple with a baby on the way.
We have recently moved into our new house and we are now looking for a domestic worker with some nanny experience.
Purpose of Role:
The Domestic Worker will provide housekeeping and home support services to ensure that the household is clean, organized, and well-maintained. The role requires reliability, discretion, and a commitment to supporting the family's daily routines and household needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Housekeeping
Daily cleaning of living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen.
Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing furniture.
Laundry: washing, ironing, folding, and packing away clothes and linens.
Changing bed linen and towels as required.
Household Maintenance & Organisation
Keeping the home tidy and organised.
Monitoring cleaning supplies and notifying the family when restocking is needed.
Basic care of household appliances (e.g., dishwasher, washing machine).
Basic food preparation (washing and chopping vegetables, assisting with meals).
Cleaning the kitchen and dishes after meals.
Child- and Family-Support:
Assisting with childcare routines under parents' supervision.
Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment, particularly around young children.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From R5000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
