: Domestic Short-Term Insurance Salesperson (Personal Lines)
One of our esteemed clients, being a leading broker in insurance and underwriting, has an exciting opportunity for a Domestic Short-Term Insurance Salesperson (Personal Lines) based in Sandton. The Domestic Short-Term Insurance Salesperson is responsible for marketing, selling, and servicing personal lines insurance products to individual clients. This includes assessing client needs, providing appropriate advice, preparing quotations, converting new business, and maintaining long-term client relationships in compliance with FAIS and insurer requirements.
Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and convert new personal lines business (motor, household, contents, all-risk, etc.)
  • Provide professional advice and suitable insurance solutions based on client needs
  • Prepare and present quotations, policy comparisons, and renewals
  • Maintain and grow an existing client portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, and internal compliance procedures
  • Handle client queries, policy amendments, and renewals efficiently
  • Build strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal teams
Requirements
  • RE5 (or working towards)
  • FAIS compliant (or ability to become compliant)
  • Previous experience in personal lines short-term insurance sales preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-service skills.
  • Own vehicle with valid drivers license
