Join Our Team as a Domestic Freight Admin Assistant



Are you a detail-oriented professional with strong administrative skills? We are looking for a Domestic Freight Admin Assistant to support our logistics operations. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:



The following are the key duties and responsibilities of this position but are not limited to:

Directly communicating with customers, couriers, transporters, and colleagues regarding the delivery, collection, and receiving of orders. Internal administration processing on Sage Evolution, including converting sales orders to picking slips, waybills, and manifests. Ensuring all orders are delivered to customers or received in the warehouse. General office administration, including generating reports, filing, customer service courtesy calls, and follow-ups. Moving between offices, the warehouse, and other premises as required to carry out responsibilities.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:



3-5 years' experience in an administrative role within a courier, transportation, or distribution center setting. Hands-on experience with order processing, waybill creation, manifest updating, shipment transportation, and IBTs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience using Sage Evolution and familiarity with courier programs such as Parcel Perfect or similar is advantageous.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:



Matric (Grade 12 or equivalent) preferred. Relevant tertiary-level qualifications are advantageous.
