Job Summary
DOCTOR'S ASSISTANT & SENIOR AESTHETICIAN
MILNERTON West Coast | Western-Cape (South Africa)
STARTING DATE: 01 January 2026
REPORTS to: Doctor
EMPLOYEMENT TERMS: Full Time Employment
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
• Saturday - based on operations/appointment only
• CLOSED Sundays & major public holidays

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R18,000 - R20,000+ Basic Salary per month (Negotiable based on level of skill & relevant experience)
• Commission (Retail & Services)
• Performance Based Incentives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Advanced Diploma in Dermal Aesthetics (minimum 3-year Somatology qualification)

• Degree in Somatology (BONUS/ Advantageous)
• Nursing or similar health/medical related qualification (BONUS/Advantageous)
• LASER (HR & SJ) experienced and confident
• Confident and knowledgeable on advanced aesthetic procedures
• Must be based directly in or around greater Milnerton
• Computer & Admin confident - (data capturing, social media)

EXPERIENCE: * Patient and Client relations - a friendly and welcoming personality

• Medical Aesthetic Practice or Aesthetic Clinic employment experience - Not negotiable
• At least FIVE years in an aesthetic environment
• Experience assisting a Medical Practitioner / Doctor's Assistant
• Highly skilled and competent in advanced aesthetic procedures

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• PRP Treatments
• Advanced Facials including chemical peels
• Dermaplaning
• Nano / Micro-needling
• Laser Hair Removal
• Laser Resurfacing
• Laser Skin rejuvenation
• Retail & Home Care recommendation
• WhatsApp / Social Media confident
• Excellent patient relations
• Maintain professional at all times

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: * Administration

• Social Media planning (content suggestions etc)
• Draft Aesthetic plans
• Assist with Stock control
• Training assistance where operationally required
• Assist with strategic planning
• Product screening and attend launches or promotions
• Patient care (pre & post) procedure
• Attend to clinical queries
• Perform advanced aesthetic treatments (secondary function)
• Assist Dr in treatment room (primary function)
• Patient relations & retention
• Quality assurance
• Front desk duties where operationally required
• Assist with sales or product recommendation
