Role Purpose Translate highlevel requirements into interaction flows and artefacts, transforming them into aesthetically pleasing, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
Requirements 35 years experience in UI/Web Design with a proven track record of multiple projects (essential) Financial services industry experience (desirable) ,Formal qualificationsRelevant ITrelated or design qualification, Formal qualifications:Relevant ITrelated or design qualification, Communication skills Problem solving skills Presentation skills Creative thinking Design thinking Influence and persuading Planning and organising skills Interpersonal skills , An understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or other visual design, wireframing and high and low fidelity prototyping tools Knowledge of HTML and CSS would be beneficial
Duties & Responsibilities INTERNAL PROCESS Determine information architecture or take the lead from an information architect or business analyst to understand process flow. Responsible for interaction design that determines how users will interact with products and/or services. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience Develop concepts for fresh, structured, engaging interfaces across web and mobile platforms. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final handoff to engineering. Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex designs. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders. Assist with the creation and maintenance of the Design System. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards. CLIENT Provide authoritative expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders. Build and maintain collaborative, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders. Deliver on service level agreements made with clients and stakeholders in order to ensure that expectations are managed. Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service. PEOPLE Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and team members. Continuously develop own expertise in terms of industry and subject matter development and application thereof in an area of specialisation.
