Duties:

  • Lead finance team and oversee all financial operations within the division.
  • Set strategic financial direction.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor financial goals, targets, and strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including shareholders, bankers, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with all legal and regulatory financial obligations.
  • Oversee financial reporting, including year-end financials, audits, budgets, risk assessments, and sustainability reports.
  • Drive tax compliance across VAT, PAYE, ETI, and company tax.
  • Fulfill fiduciary duties as a Board Director and provide financial advice to the Board and CEO.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, working capital, foreign currency transactions, and Forward Exchange Contracts (FEC).
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • BCom Accounting
  • BCom Honours / CTA
  • CA(SA) or CIMA
Experience:
  • Completed Articles.
  • 5 to 8 years' experience in financial management and working knowledge of financial systems, Excel, and financial software.
  • Knowledge of tax management, company restructuring, and BBBEE codes.
  • Proven track record of building and leading teams, meeting deadlines, and delivering under pressure.
  • Background in manufacturing, engineering, or output-based industries is advantageous.
  • Experience with Foreign Exchange Contracts (FEC) is preferred.
