Job Description


Rand water is looking for a candidate to assist in managing resources on site and district, and to ensure minimum disruption to consumer supplies in the area.
Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 or N3 coupled with a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical
  • Driver's license
  • 3 years experienced in a similar environment
with 1 year Supervisory capacity * Computer literatcy
  • Completion of SDP
  • Pump station experience will be added as advantage
Primary Duties
  • Managing District staff, managing budget and communication on district.
  • Planned/ unplanned shutdowns
  • Liasing with consumers and contractors
  • Maintenance management of infrastructure
  • SHEQ Management
  • Monthly and weekly meter reading
  • Perform standby duties
Knowledge
  • Sound of management experience labour Relations.
  • Knowledge of OHS Act
Skills
  • Excellent communication and liasing skills
  • Management and people skills
  • Ability to work without supervision
Attitude
  • Performance Driven Attention to detail Customer Services orientation
