What will you do?

Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of distribution support professionals.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and regular performance feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Sales Support:
  • Collaborate closely with the Group Distribution Sales team to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Design and implement effective processes to support the sales team's activities, including lead generation, proposal preparation, and post-sales support.
  • Ensure efficient distribution of sales materials, contracts, and other relevant documentation to facilitate the sales process.
Management of the end-to-end leads process, this entails
  • Leads Qualification and fulfilment
  • Leads distribution
  • Leads monitoring and reporting
Relationship Management:
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, agents, and internal partners.
  • Serve as a point of contact for distribution-related inquiries and concerns, addressing them in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align distribution strategies with broader business objectives.
Training and Development:
  • Coordinate training programs for the sales team, ensuring they are well-equipped with product knowledge, sales techniques, and relevant tools.
  • Develop and deliver workshops, webinars, and training materials to enhance the sales team's capabilities.
Process Improvement:
  • Continuously assess and refine distribution support processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Identify automation and technology solutions to optimize workflows and reduce manual efforts.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all distribution activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain accuracy and consistency in sales support materials.
What will make you successful in this role?
  • Proven experience (8 - 12 years) in distribution support, sales operations, or related roles, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Experience in engaging with key business and external partners across all levels (especially at senior levels)
  • Experience in working/ applying commercial, business and financial principles
  • Previous report writing experience
  • Project management experience
  • Leadership experience
Qualification & experience
  • B Com Management or any other related fields of study
  • Postgraduate qualification in management will be an added advantage
Knowledge and Skills
  • Support business strategies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing successful teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools.
  • In-depth understanding of group insurance products and distribution channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives and embrace technological advancements.
