More about the opportunity:
Large retail group with a national footprint requires a Distribution/Dispatch Manager's skill set for their Durban warehouse. They have a rich history spanning over 5 decades with various product offerings. You will have to take charge of the distribution and outbound processes which include driver management, planning of delivery routes, picker and packer supervision, and ensuring efficiencies are maintained in the operations. Your process improvement and compliance background will assist in securing a spot on the shortlist.
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics
- 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a distribution management or warehousing role
- Experience in the FMCG or logistics industries
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and WMS software
- Driven and detail-orientated
