Dispatch Controller
Job Description
Check orders before dispatch to customers
Ensure the drivers load all items as per the invoice
Ensure two signatures on every invoice
Ensure stock is neatly packed into dispatch routes for loading by drivers
Manage the branch drivers to ensure efficiency
Ensure vehicle inspections are done daily
See the company vehicles are properly maintained and kept in a clean and presentable condition at all times
Report defects of company vehicles as soon as possible.
Report any suspicion of ingestion of any substance by a driver that might affect the ability of the driver before taking charge of a company vehicle.
Ensure that drivers hand in all pick-ups at Receiving together with the necessary documentation.
Organize collections from suppliers
Liaise with service providers regarding vehicle servicing and repairs
Housekeeping
Assist in the warehouse where required. This may include, but is not limited to: Packing away of stock, Pulling stock, Labels, Organizing stock on the shelves
Stock control (stock takes)

The neatness and cleanliness of the warehouse
The accuracy of stock takes
The accuracy and organisation of the stock on the shelves
The accuracy of orders that are pulled
Skills and experience:
Minimum 3 years Warehouse experience
Matric
Good organisational skills
Leadership skills
Mathematical Literacy
Must be based in or nearby to the Rosslyn warehouse
