Position: Director's Personal Assistant
Company: DAITO Corporation, a contractor for 123NET- a thriving ISP located in Umhlanga Rocks
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Director.
The successful candidate requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational skill, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Administrative Support
Manage the Director's diary, appointments, and scheduling
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take accurate minutes
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, calls, letters)
Draft, proofread, and format professional documents and reports
Maintain filing systems (electronic and hard copy)
Communication & Liaison
Act as the primary point of contact between the Director and internal/external parties
Screen calls and visitors, prioritizing matters appropriately
Follow up on outstanding matters on behalf of the Director
Ensure clear and professional communication at all times
Travel & Logistics
Arrange travel/ meetings, and itineraries
Prepare briefing packs for meetings
Coordinate logistics for meetings etc.
Oversee and coordinate on-site teams
Confidentiality & Compliance
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Maintain confidentiality of company, client, and executive matters
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Operational & Office Support
Assist with project coordination and tracking deadlines
Monitor and manage projects/tasks
Support office administration and ensure smooth office operations
Strategic & Executive Support
Anticipate the Director's needs and proactively manage priorities
Assist with research, presentations, and executive summaries
Support decision-making through accurate information and follow-ups
Skills & Competencies
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
High level of professionalism and discretion
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Provide assistance with ad hoc assignments/tasks as directed by the Director.
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant administrative or secretarial qualification
Minimum 3 years' experience as a PA or Executive Assistant
Experience supporting senior executives or directors
