Job Description


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement multi-layered comprehensive account plans to drive and grow Profitable Business such as Projects, MRO, Parts, Displacement, Service business and improve revenue and returns from the existing solid installed base.
  • Develop and implement Mining EPCs plans to drive get transparency for all the mining projects in the region, develop strong relationship with Key EPCs player and develop and implement the projects pursuing process which help to put more install base.
  • Develop and implement the required Sales channel approach for mining supply partners and resellers.
  • Establish and develop high level positive relationships with key leaders and at all functional levels including C-level relationship with all Key End Users in Africa.
  • Meet or exceed territory financial objectives (budget, monthly booking forecast, etc.) as required in support of the Africa Territory business plan.
  • Develop and implement Sales and Site plan strategies for key mining install base in Africa.
  • Drive solution selling for critical applications and solving customer Pain by site visits and surveys, Analyze and develop plans to drive suitable displacement solutions to end Users.
  • Prepare and present marketing forecasts, pricing surveys, business growth intelligence and marketing plans
  • Work closely with Emerson Automation Solutions Business Units and improve content.
  • Take a pro-active role in coordinating with the Global Project Pursuit Team and World Area Sales team to identify, qualify and pursue projects to achieve order conversion and improve the potential for all Emerson Automation Solutions products and services.
  • Leverage Business Unit team to aim for the End user approval for the manufacturing location and the brands with Key end users and to get qualifying for the Project specific and Approved Vendor Lists.
  • Develop long-term relationships with senior management within customer accounts to ensure awareness of the capabilities of Emerson Automation Solutions.
  • Proactively engage early with End Users Project team to support and gain preference for Emerson Automation Solutions products and solutions.
  • Ensure Emerson Ethics and trade compliance procedures are rigorously followed with all business transactions. Share timely updates with developments in Products, industry and market trends.
Basic Qualifications Graduate Engineer with Degree level in field like Mechanical, Instrumentation, Petroleum, Chemical or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Achievement of an MBA qualification will be considered helpful but not vital.
Additional Information
  • A minimum of 8 - 10 years in Sales / Sales channel management / Strategic Accounts experience preferably in the valve industry or with Process mining Industry.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and growing territory above market growth.
  • Ability to consistently deliver Sales growth and gaining customers reputation
  • Process Automation / Valve/Instrumentation Mining Industry experience.
  • Preference will be given to people from Designated Groups in line with the companyxe2x80x99s EE Plan requirements.
