The primary objective of the Digital Product Data Coordinator is to co-ordinate and support the digital product team by ensuring high quality of all digital product data, including images, media, data, and metadata, across all digital platforms for the business. This role focuses on optimising product data to drive online traffic and ultimately increase sales.
Role Description
Improve the enrichment quality of digital product data on all digital channels.
Create and manage product catalogues for all online channels (new & existing).
Maintain and enhance category relationships and product attributes to drive product discovery and increase sales conversions.
Work with product data stakeholders in the business to improve data quality and attribute setups.
Review and edit images, media and product descriptions for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in managing the online Catalogue for each banner effectively.
Provide operational support and assistance where needed regarding product data.
Enhance the overall integrity of all product data, including images, media, and enrichment data.
Organise and maintain product data, including specifications, images, and descriptions.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all digital platforms.
Provide reports on the accuracy and completeness of product data.
Qualifications and experience
Grade 12 Matric - (essential).
Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data - (preferred).
+2 years' experience in a digital product data or similar role with well-developed knowledge of marketing and the eCommerce environment - (essential).
Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., SAP Commerce, Magento, etc. - (preferred).
Tech savvy with exposure to digital platforms and software and integrating datasets to identify solutions - (essential).
Strong Proficiency in MS Office 365 - (essential).
