Digital Product Content Strategy Contractor

Job Description

We're scaling product content across enterprise-level web, mobile, and commerce portals. You'll own the end-to-end content strategy and hands-on writing for product-listing and product-detail experiences (PLP/PDP), category pages, and navigation copy--driving discoverability, clarity, and conversion. You'll partner with UX, Service, SEO, Analytics, and Engineering to create persuasive, structured content that performs.
What you'll actually do

  • Shape the product content strategy: Decide how product pages should look and sound, and set rules for tone, style, and messaging.
  • Make products easier to find: Organize categories, filters, and navigation so shoppers quickly get to what they need.
  • Write and edit product content: Create headlines, benefit-driven descriptions, comparison sections, and other text that helps customers choose and buy.
  • Build scalable systems: Develop templates, style guides, and reusable content blocks so content is consistent and easier to maintain across different markets and brands.
  • Test and improve: Work with data and run A/B tests (like trying different headlines or button text) to see what drives more clicks and sales.
  • Use enterprise tools: Publish and manage content in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), run personalization campaigns with Adobe Target, and coordinate messaging with Adobe Campaign.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner daily with UX designers, product managers, SEO experts, engineers, and marketers to ship content on schedule.
What you need to bring
  • Solid experience (5+ years) writing and planning content for big e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong skills in organizing product information (categories, filters, specs, etc.) so it's structured and easy to find.
  • A portfolio that shows persuasive writing that increased sales or engagement. (before/after or test results preferred)
  • Knowledge of SEO for online shopping and how to use data to refine content.
  • Comfort working in Agile product teams (sprints, backlogs, deadlines).
  • Strong communication skills to explain your content choices with data and customer insights.
Bonus points
  • Hands-on with AEM Sites content models/components, Adobe Target activities, and Adobe Campaign orchestration; exposure to DAM/Assets pipelines.
  • Experience with large product catalogs, multi-locale content ops, and PIM/DAM workflows.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive language guidelines.
