The Role: Outbound Call Setter for Sales
We're looking for an experienced Cold Calling Sales Development Representative to own outbound calling, appointment setting campaigns targeting HR and L&D, and C-suite decision makers.
You'll be responsible for turning cold leads into qualified, booked meeting opportunities for our sales team
This role is 100% remote and open to candidates across South Africa, with a strong preference for people comfortable working independently in a global setup.
What You'll Be Doing
Make high-volume outbound cold calls (150+ calls/day)* Speak confidently with HR VPs, L&D Leaders, and C-suite decision-makers* Deliver sharp, relevant value propositions that resonate with pain points* Qualify leads based on need, authority, timing, and relevance* Book qualified meetings for Account Executives* Handle objections professionally while protecting brand reputation* Log clean, accurate notes in Zoho CRM* Follow proven scripts while adapting in real time* Collaborate directly with the Founder on messaging and strategy* Continuously improve performance through feedback and iteration*
You're a Strong Fit If You:
Have real cold calling experience (HR, L&D, C-suite; SaaS, and/or B2B preferred)* Are comfortable with rejection and high call volumes* Can speak clearly, confidently, and professionally* Understand lead qualification and buying signals* Work well independently without micromanagement* Respect process, data, and clean CRM hygiene*
Bonus Points If You:
Have booked meetings for CEO, CHRO or VP of L&D solutions before* Know how to handle HR-specific objections (budget cycles, approvals, timing)* Have used Zoho CRM or similar tools* Enjoy improving scripts, talk tracks, and objection handling*
Compensation (Performance-Based)
We're open to structuring compensation based on experience and preference:
Fixed monthly base* Commission per qualified meeting booked and held*
