Digital Marketing Strategist - KZNDigital Marketing Strategist (KZN) Media/Marketing/SalesDurban - KwaZulu NatalENVIRONMENT:A leading Property Developer & Hospitality Provider in KwaZulu-Natal seeks a forward-thinking and performance-driven Digital Marketing Strategist to join its team. Your core role will be to optimise the Digital Marketing footprint for each of the brands within the group, with the ultimate goal of building the brands and generating leads in the most optimal ways across the most effective platforms. You will be required to use a mix of innovative, creative, and tech-savvy approaches to identify trends before they peak and use those insights to implement Digital Marketing and promotional strategies. Applicants will require a suitable Digital Marketing qualification or experience of at least 5 years relevant working and management experience including hands-on experience with online marketing tools and practices. You must also have solid knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics.DUTIES:Digital Marketing Strategic Planning and DevelopmentLead ongoing management of all Digital Marketing touch points.Research products, services and current strategies to identify new opportunities.Develop strategies using all necessary tools and platforms across these Digital Marketing spectrums:Digital Advertising, Email Marketing, Content Marketing, Search Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Community Management and Copywriting.Digital Marketing Programmes and CampaignsPlan, develop and execute Digital Marketing programmes and campaigns to improve lead quality and beat the competition, including but not limited to online advertising, SEO, email communications, website strategy and design, social media and mobile.Keep up-to-date with various target audiences preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns.Take management oversight of all paid digital channels.Create and test Ad copy for operational efficiency and optimal lead generation.Communicate with team members on campaign developments, timelines, and results.Digital Marketing OptimisationEstablish best practices in Digital Marketing for all group brands.Liaise with Marketing, Sales, Design and Content teams to optimise customer experience and ensure brand consistency.Create and optimize landing pages to increase signups.Apply In-depth knowledge of SEO and AdWords programs for optimisation of the websites and campaigns.Stay up to date with the latest Digital Marketing technologies developments and opportunities.Digital Marketing Analytics -Own and maintain site and platform analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting.Setup mechanisms to measure multiple campaigns across many online channels and monitoring KPIs and performing data analysis around key metrics.Perform data analysis around key metrics and suggest solutions to boost performance.Draw meaningful conclusions from campaign data and identify potential opportunities for improvement.Monitor SEO/SEM, marketing and sales performance metrics to forecast trends.Monitor competition and providing suggestions for improvement.REQUIREMENTS:QualificationsDigital Marketing Qualification or experience essential.Experience/Skills5 Years relevant working and management experience.Solid knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics.Strong project management skills.Strong numerical and Excel skills essential.Hands-on experience with online marketing tools and practices.Excellent attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Ability to multitask and work under pressure.ATTRIBUTES:Analytical.Dynamic.Self-starter.Excellent interpersonal skills.
