MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To manage and develop, implement, monitor and refine our digital strategy across the business for our social media platforms and our google marketing / sales activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setting and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies across the business and our brands.
• Providing engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts
• Responding to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
• Providing insights into our digital advertising strategies with Google Adwords and our various website SEO's.
• Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency
• Liaise with Product and Sales departments to stay updated on new products, features and services
• Liaise with Customer Service to resolve comments and customer queries in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Matric
• BA in Brand Communications / BA Marketing degree or higher / BCom in Digital Marketing Degree required
• 3 - 5 years of work experience in social media management and/or strategy in technology, media or google adwords role or similar.
• Proven work experience as a social media / digital marketing specialist
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams with copywriters, designers, customer support, product managers, etc.
• Google Adwords and SEO knowledge and experience is preferable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using Adobe Suite and video editing software beneficial.
• Tech Savvy Professional. (Including social media and Google Adwords Experience)
• Proficient in monitoring and tracking social media content through content management platforms such as Metaverse, Brand Watch, Hootsuite etc.
