Digital Marketing Specialist
Job Description
Location: Century City, Cape Town | In-office | Full-time
We are looking to hire a dynamic Marketing Manager or Marketing Specialist with a foundational understanding of digital marketing, design, social media, and event coordination (particularly small-scale office activations).
The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Afrikaans, within a developed business environment.
Experience or interest in AI tools and platforms would be a strong advantage, as we increasingly integrate these tools into our marketing approach.
The role will be officially employed under First Impact, with the following workload split:
70% dedicated to FT-CT
30% supporting marketing activities
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns Content creation and design (using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite) Social media scheduling, posting, and community management Coordinate small internal office events and marketing activations Support email marketing, reporting, and admin Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers Explore or implement AI tools for efficiency and content generation
Requirements:
1-5 years of marketing experience (agency or in-house) Strong organisational skills and creative flair Hands-on knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) Basic to intermediate experience in design and content creation Bilingual in English and Afrikaans (written & spoken) Passion for digital trends and AI tools (preferred) *
In-office, Monday to Friday at our Century City office
