Sanlam Multi Data, a fintech payments business, looks, feels and works like a startup, but has the backing and expertise of a leading South African insurance and investment giant - Sanlam. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to design, develop, implement, track and optimise our digital and other marketing campaigns across all digital channels.

You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

You should have a passion for results driven campaigns, driving lead generation to the maximum.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, electronic (video), Flyer, brochure and display advertising campaigns.
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence.
  • Design, build and maintain xe2x80x9cmicro-video'sxe2x80x9d WhatsApp optimised content and Web content.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience.
  • Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners as required.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
  • Collaboration with external clients on shared marketing campaigns and preparing specific marketing material for external clients.
  • Alignment to Sanlam CI for creating a public presence for Multi Data.
Requirements and Skills
  • BA/BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years + proven working experience in B2B digital marketing
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Research advertising trends
  • Research competitors' pricing and products
  • Decide on appropriate placement of ads
  • Determine what content will reach customers
  • Develop projects to create content
  • Publish digital marketing content online
  • Implement email marketing campaigns
  • Measure digital traffic
  • Monitor social media and Google Analytics
  • Optimise paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
  • Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders
  • Scale campaigns to maximise ROI
  • Monitor project status and budget
  • Conduct market research to inform campaigns
  • Brainstorm and implement experiments and conversion tests
