Purpose of the Role:

You will own an area within product and act as the xe2x80x98voicexe2x80x99 of the product. You will be responsible for representing the team to the key stakeholders around the business, as well as working closely with other Product Owners/ Managers across the company to prioritise and deliver on company goals. You will understand your area and be able to be the go-to person for stakeholders and development teams. You will develop an appreciation for how your data is used, and for what purposes to leverage value from it. You will have the final say on what gets built next by the engineering team.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Work with the Product Manager to produce the product vision, road map and growth opportunities

Plan and prioritise the product feature backlog that aligns with the Company goals

Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of previously prepared tasks to work on

Understand data flows within your domain and be able to articulate this to stakeholders

Work with Architects and Lead Developers to plan and breakdown epics into deliverable features on the backlog

Review completed work and confirm requirements and goals have been met

Write concise epics/initiatives that outline business objectives and how success will be measured

Lead the product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities

Provide an active role in overcoming obstacles impacting the successful team completion of release/sprint goals

Research and analyse the market, users, and the roadmap for the product

Evaluate competitorsxe2x80x99 products or relevant technologies and compare them to our products

Demonstrate product features to large audiences

Create and manage any necessary product documentation

Facilitate team meetings

Align product dependencies

Practice Agile methodologies

Essential Criteria:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to make good judgements by analysing complex and varied information

Desirable Criteria:

Scrum certified

Able to write SQL queries

Able to use Databricks

Experience working in Digital Marketing xe2x80x93 Performance Media, SEO, Affiliates etc.

Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Project Manager
