Digital Marketing Manager

to join our Cape Town team. This role will be based within GOTO SA but dedicated to supporting one of our international clients, a premium real estate brand with a strong global presence.

About the Role


This role plays a pivotal part in driving a premium brand's global digital marketing strategy, performance, and innovation. You will enhance brand awareness, optimise customer acquisition, and deliver measurable growth through data-led and AI-driven marketing initiatives. Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and wider marketing team, you'll ensure the brand remains at the forefront of luxury real estate marketing worldwide. This is a hands-on position suited to a proactive, execution-focused professional who combines strategic thinking with the ability to deliver results directly.

Key Responsibilities



Strategy & Planning

Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer, Brand Marketing Manager, and Head of Social Media and Content to develop an annual digital marketing plan. Conduct audits of all existing digital channels, evaluating their effectiveness and identifying opportunities for improvement. Perform competitor analysis and research emerging digital media, technologies, and AI-powered tools to inform strategic decisions. Prioritise and brief improvements to existing platforms and oversee the implementation of new digital solutions. Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance planning to meet marketing and growth targets. Take responsibility for the performance of communication strategies across websites, advertising, and lead nurturing activities. Provide regular reports and data-driven analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
Digital Marketing Activities

Optimise digital advertising channels to maximise ROI and lead generation. Manage and maintain contact databases, overseeing automated lead generation and nurturing workflows. Devise and execute strategies to drive qualified traffic to international websites, improving usability, design, content, and conversion rates. Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests to improve performance. Collaborate with internal teams to create high-performing landing pages and enhance user experience. Employ a range of digital techniques including paid search, SEO, PPC, programmatic advertising, and retargeting. Evaluate end-to-end customer experiences across multiple channels and touchpoints using data and analytics. Deliver accurate performance reports demonstrating effective ROI and campaign efficiency. Conduct ongoing analysis of competitive environments, consumer trends, and emerging digital opportunities. Leverage AI tools for ad targeting, SEO optimisation, and personalised content delivery. Use predictive analytics and machine learning insights to enhance conversion rates and campaign performance. Develop and maintain relationships with agencies and third parties, conducting regular business reviews to achieve commercial objectives.
Marketing & Brand Support

Work with the Head of Brand Marketing and Brand Marketing Manager to review and evolve brand positioning and digital presence. Manage digital marketing initiatives to achieve KPIs for website visits, lead generation, brand awareness, and customer retention. Oversee data-driven campaigns that integrate AI insights with brand storytelling. Collaborate with Social Media, PR, and Design teams to ensure measurable ROI for members and consistent brand delivery.

What We're Looking For



Extensive experience in a digital marketing management role with proven success driving performance across multiple channels (7+ years) Strong technical understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, programmatic advertising, and marketing automation. Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted marketing tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Jasper, HubSpot AI) and data analytics platforms. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret insights from Google Analytics, GA4, WebTrends, or similar tools. Skilled in conversion rate optimisation, user funnel management, and customer journey design. Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing, automation, and performance measurement. Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and presentation skills with a strong attention to detail. Hands-on and results-driven, capable of executing campaigns while managing multiple priorities. A degree or recognised professional qualification in Marketing, Communications, or Digital Marketing (e.g. CIM, IMM, or MASA) is an advantage. Experience in property, real estate, or luxury brand sectors desirable.
