Our client, an authorised financial service provider, based in Johannesburg (Houghton) is currently looking to employ a Digital Marketing and Leads Specialist, to join their dynamic team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan digital marketing campaigns and activity across multiple channels.
• Create and publish written and visual content to support marketing initiatives.
• Optimize their marketing funnels to improve performance.
• MOM performance reporting and optimization strategies.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the companiesxe2x80x99 products, systems and processes.
• Manage white label lead generation platforms.
• POPI and opt out management.
• Focus on commercial viability and analyse payment experience on leads generated.
• Approach projects with flexibility to test, iterate and improve.
• Manage relationships with third party lead providers.
• Provide support to the marketing programme manager.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in marketing.
• Previous experience in financial services marketing / lead generation.
• Experience in creating and managing digital marketing campaigns.
• Advanced knowledge of SEO (Search engine optimisation) and the ability to create and effectively manage organic search campaigns.
• Pay-per-click Advertising (PPC) xe2x80x93 deliver profitable PPC campaigns across multiple ad networks, including Google Ads and paid social advertising.
• Use Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) to optimize marketing funnels and improve landing page conversion rates.
• Data Analysis xe2x80x93 Use data analytics to measure, analyse, and report on campaign performance.
• Email Marketing xe2x80x93 Design email marketing campaigns and support them by writing newsletters and lead nurturing emails that keep prospects engaged until they are prepared to take action/ convert.
• Social Media Marketing xe2x80x93 Have expert knowledge in growing high-quality followers and building engagement across the four main social channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Content Marketing xe2x80x93 Be familiar with the process of content marketing and how to create content that is memorable, shareable, useful, and drives genuine engagement from interested audiences.
• Digital PR xe2x80x93 develop and increase online presence through high-quality backlink generation, press releases, guest posting, and other initiatives that elevate status and brand exposure online.
• Website CMS xe2x80x93 To fulfil the website administration and content publishing responsibilities.
• HTML and CSS xe2x80x93 understand HTML, CSS, and any other relevant front end best practice.
• Propose changes to a website, customise and perform content experiments etc.
• Propose and implement retargeting strategies.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent computer literacy skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Advanced Excel skills xe2x80x93 advantageous.
• Understanding of UX/ CX principals and user journey management.
• Ability to unpack the customer lifecycle from purchase to usage at the time of need and identify flags for cancellation.
• Ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the business.
• Ability to resolve issues effectively and with urgency.
• Demonstrates a high degree of honesty, integrity, diligence, charisma, innovation, and customer-service attitude.
