The Digital Marketing Administrator will be responsible for assisting in the day to day marketing operations associated with the Dis-Chem Branded financial service: www.dischemhealth.co.za. This includes responding to internal and external email communication, replying to external comments on various platforms and assisting with various internal and external partner queries. In addition, responsibilities will include extracting reporting data from platforms, manipulating the data and uploading it to internal systems. They will then be required to provide reports to various internal and external parties and partners on this data. You will also be required to upload internal data to various external platforms for improving campaign results and reporting. Furthermore, the role will require the managing of campaigns on various marketing platforms and testing of the lead generation process regularly. The role also requires assisting with different aspects of SEO such as requesting back links, checking site scores, checking site metadata etc. There will also be a financial aspect to this position, in terms of assisting with invoicing from partners and preparing internal commission and fees reports. This position requires attention to detail, advanced Excel skills and the ability to understand data and finances. It will also require a level of knowledge of digital marketing, lead generation and customer service. KEY OUTCOMES Communication: You will be required to respond to emails received in response to external mailer campaigns, timeously and in a courteous manner. You will also be required to respond to internal and external partner emails, assisting them where possible, or handing it over to the correct channel. You will also be required to respond to or assist with responses to comments on various platforms.

Reporting: Along with the Marketing Operations Manager, your reporting duties will be to:
  • Obtain data from various advertising platforms and internal systems, relating to performance, manipulate it into the correct format and upload it into systems and reports.
  • You will be required to assist with sending weekly reports to our advertising partners.

  • Ability to identify solutions to reporting challenges.
Financial tasks: Along with the Marketing Operations Manager and working with the various financial and sales teams across the company.
  • Assist external partners with their invoicing.
  • Follow up with the finance team to ensure partners are paid.
  • Work with the billing team to provide reports for sales commissions and fees.
  • Assist the billing team in sending out SMSs to notify clients of their debit order dates or if any problems with their debit orders.
Marketing Platforms: You may be required to assist with the running of advertising on certain advertising platforms, such as:
  • Bing
  • Reddit
  • TikTok
  • Facebook
Testing: Along with the Marketing Operations Manager, IT department and external agencies, you will be required to assist in routine website testing, to ensure leads are captured, tracked and transferred through the lead cycle correctly.

Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
  • 5+ years preferably within digital marketing environments including campaign management, digital agency, media buying or affiliate marketing.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of paid media strategies across digital platforms including affiliate marketing, Google, Email and SMS marketing, Facebook, TikTok, Bing and other platforms.
  • Ability to use reporting to glean insights that lead to actionable improvements across marketing channels.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to work cross-functionally and interest in understanding the business is a must.
  • Must be able to multitask, prioritise work, and manage time efficiently.
EDUCATION: QUALIFICATIONS: ACCREDITATIONS WITH PROFESSIONAL BODY REQUIRED Relevant qualifications in marketing or advertising will be advantages. TECHNICAL SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
  • Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel, Power Bi, PowerPoint and Word
