Job Description


Our client in Bloemfontein is currently recruiting a part-time Digital Marketer (15 hours a week) 3 days a week from 9am - 2pm in-office. Job Summary: Join our team and take charge of crafting and executing compelling digital marketing campaigns for an esteemed artist. Your role involves creating impactful content, maintaining brand consistency, and expanding their online presence across various platforms. Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Degree or diploma or studying towards a Marketing qualification
  • Must be able to speak Afrikaans
  • Must have own car and valid drivers license
  • Passion for digital marketing
  • Strong creativity, imagination, and innovation
  • Familiarity with website analytics tools
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in SEO/SEM, email, and display advertising
  • Proficient in Google Ads and Facebook ads
  • Knowledge of email platforms like MailChimp
  • Working knowledge of WordPress or willing to learn
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven thinking
  • Familiarity with project management tools and graphic design software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and implement AI
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and monitor digital marketing campaigns to boost awareness and drive traffic
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar for targeted content delivery
  • Create engaging content for websites, newsletters, social media, and press releases
  • Design marketing materials like brochures, flyers, and videos showcasing the artist's work
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging on all social channels
  • Demonstrate social media savvy and stay abreast of trends
  • Lead SEO/SEM, email, and display advertising campaigns
  • Optimize landing pages and user funnels, conduct A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Utilize website analytics tools and manage Google AdWords campaigns
  • Implement and grow social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest
  • Write blogs, newsletters, and create visual content
  • Contribute to brand strategy, executing comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand values
  • Stay informed about industry trends, social media algorithms, and best practices
  • Work as a Part-Time Content Specialist, focusing on video editing, design, and social media management
  • Ensure that artist paintings are wrapped and packed
  • Develop visually appealing graphics and layouts for digital platforms
  • Craft and post compelling content aligned with the brand's voice and goals
  • Implement effective content strategies to increase brand visibility and audience engagement
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance, adjusting strategies for optimal results
  • Increase social media presence with the goal of creating/growing paid subscribers
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing
