Job Description

The position of Graphic and Digital Designer is required to produce effective creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform digital work and ads. This ranges from responsive sites and emails to banners, mobile/tablet applications and microsites.

The individual will work closely with Account Executives and the rest of the creative team to convey a message using type, photography, illustration and colour across different ad media such as the web, as well as cross-platform digital work.

The Graphic/Digital Designer must research and stay up to date with trends to see what works for the customer, and must have a keen eye for detail, together with a highly creative mind. This position requires strict adherence and delivery to deadlines.

The Graphic/Digital Designer must edit and manipulate ad layouts according to the clients' specifications and must be able to communicate with management in order to determine the appropriate direction of a project.

Work experience requirements:

1 to 2 years' previous experience in a digital field Hands-on experience with software like Photoshop and Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and Premier Pro Established aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts Bias towards accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines Demonstrated creativity and innovation A reasonable understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment Experience working in UI/UX designs
Education requirements:

Matriculation / Grade 12 Certificate Certificate/Diploma/BA Degree specialising in Multimedia Design
