We are seeking a dependable and technically skilled Diesel Mechanic to join a reputable UD/FAW dealership workshop.
The successful candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, hands-on repair experience, and the ability to work efficiently within a structured, high-performing workshop environment.
Salary: R17 000 - R22 000 + Commission + Medical aid + Pension fund + 13th cheque.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, service, and repair UD & FAW trucks Conduct maintenance and fault-finding to OEM standards Complete job cards accurately and timeously Perform vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs Assist with breakdowns when required Maintain productivity and meet efficiency targets Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards Work collaboratively with the workshop team
Requirements:
National Senior Certificate Diesel Mechanic Trade Test (essential) Master Technician or Auto Electrical certification (advantageous) * Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience "on the bench" at a franchised dealership
