We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join a reputable FAW dealership workshop.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical competence, solid diagnostic ability, and experience working within a franchised dealership environment.
You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing FAW trucks to factory standards while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
Salary: R17 000 - R22 000 + Commission + Medical aid + Pension fund + 13th cheque.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on FAW trucks Ensure all work meets OEM and dealership quality standards Complete job cards accurately and efficiently Conduct inspections and identify necessary repairs Work with the workshop team to optimize productivity Assist with breakdowns when required Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all health, safety, and compliance regulations
Requirements:
National Senior Certificate Diesel Mechanic Trade Test (essential) Master Technician or Auto Electrical certification (advantageous) * Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience "on the bench" at a franchised dealership
