We are looking for a qualified and committed Diesel Mechanic to join a reputable UD dealership workshop in Middelburg.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical ability, excellent diagnostic skills, and proven experience working in a franchised truck dealership environment.
Salary: R17 000 - R22 000 + Commission + Medical aid + Pension fund + 13th cheque.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain UD trucks Perform services and fault-finding according to OEM specifications Accurately complete job cards and service documentation Identify additional repairs and ensure transparent communication Assist with roadside breakdowns when required Maintain productivity and meet workshop efficiency targets Ensure compliance with safety, health, and housekeeping policies Work collaboratively within the workshop team
Requirements:
National Senior Certificate Diesel Mechanic Trade Test (essential) Master Technician or Auto Electrical certification (advantageous) * Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience "on the bench" at a franchised dealership
