What will the role be about

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines, vehicles, and equipment. Conduct inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime. Troubleshoot and repair fuel systems, transmissions, brakes, steering, and hydraulic systems. Use specialized tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals to complete tasks. Maintain accurate service records and report on repairs and parts used. Adhere to safety procedures and company standards at all times. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work.

Who are we looking for

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Diesel Technician, or similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and diagnostic tools. Technical training, certification, or apprenticeship in diesel mechanics (preferred). Ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina and ability to work in workshop/field environments. Valid driver's license (commercial license may be an asset). Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
