Diesel Mechanic

We are assisting our client in a search for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established team in the manufacturing and construction equipment industry. This role offers exposure to a wide range of machinery and equipment, with a strong focus on diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on diesel-powered equipment and machinery
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
Maintain accurate service records and complete job cards in line with company standards
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to troubleshoot recurring faults
Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards at all times
Requirements:
Qualified Diesel Mechanic with a relevant trade certificate
Proven experience working on construction or compact equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, dumpers)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A valid drivers license
