Job Summary
Duties and Responsibilities: Large irrigated unit. 2600ha centre pivot irrigation requires a mechanic qualified to:
Maintain wheat and maize planters, sprayers, spreaders, excavators,
dozers, graders, tippers, loaders, landprep tractors and implements, utility tractors and the necessary farm fabrication requirements.
Irrigation equipment includes centre pivots maintenance gearboxes, bearings, electrical etc,
and maintenance on all the irrigation pumps and motors.
The applicant must have relevant qualifications (Trade Test) and 5 years minimum experience.
