KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Ensure adherence to safety, health, environment and quality requirements
Support the Manager to ensure availability of plant & resources
Training sub-ordinates and delegating tasks
Requesting of parts and making recommendations to the Maintenance Manager
Carry out services and planned repair work
Attending to breakdowns
Standby roster and call outs
Rebuilding of components
Completing job cards and machine reports
Partaking in weekly operational meetings with department foremen
Troubleshooting complex problems
Mentoring and supporting of assistants and apprentices

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Trade test qualification
Valid South African Driving License
Experience on Drill Rigs (Sandvik/Epiroc/Sumitomo/Hyundai experience advantageous)
Good technical ability & knowledge - Basic auto-electrical experience advantageous

Experience in plant failure investigations & troubleshooting

Sandvik/Epiroc/Sumitomo/Hyundai drill rig/excavator work (Required)

Stress Tolerance and efficient under pressure
Good communicator and a Team Player
Adaptable, flexible and willing to travel
Computer literacy advantageous
Own tools required
Willing to relocate to South Coast KZN

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R35000,00 - R55000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal 4242: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:

Sandvik/Epiroc/Sumitomo/Hyundai drill rig/excavator work : 5 years (Required)
Work Location: In person
