Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to ensure safe, reliable and compliant operation.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical faults on vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Perform preventative, planned and breakdown maintenance on engines, transmissions, braking and related systems.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.
- Complete accurate maintenance records and job documentation using relevant systems.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment and adhere to health and safety requirements.
- Provide standby and breakdown support as required.
- Grade 12
- Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate
- Qualification in Engineering Studies (N3/N4)
- 3-5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic with advanced knowledge of modern vehicle
- Valid Driver's License
- Salary: R250K - R300K P/A
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
