Devops Engineer Manager
Job Description
Build, maintain, and optimise development tools, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to improve automation, reliability, and release processes.
Manage and support Azure environments, ensuring performance, security, and compliance.
Apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and modern DevOps architectural practices.
Support IT strategy, including ISO 27001 compliance, disaster recovery planning, and partner certification requirements.
Oversee IT asset management, procurement, and customer engagement.
Matric / Grade 12
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, engineering, software engineering, or related field.
Microsoft Azure Certification - AZ-400,Azure Certified Developer Associate,Azure Certified Administrator Associate.
Min 5years of experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field, coupled with
3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, App Services, AKS, PowerShell, Front Door, AD/Azure AD, Key Vault, Storage, and Redis Cache.
Background in software or infrastructure development (C#, Web, JavaScript).
Experience with distributed micro services architectures, CI/CD, and observability/SRE practices (MTTD, MTTR, RPO, RTO).
Proficient with Windows Server, IIS, Azure App Service, MS SQL, and scripting (PowerShell, JavaScript).
Familiar with Agile methodologies and current industry trends.
