Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a talented and passionate DevOps Developer to join their innovative team in Johannesberg! In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. You'll work closely with development and operations teams to streamline our software development lifecycle, automate infrastructure provisioning, and ensure the reliability and performance of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for various applications.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality, testability, and deployability.
Implement and maintain robust security practices throughout the development and operations lifecycle.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Promote a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role.
Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
Solid understanding of networking, security, and database concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
