Job Summary

Role Summary:

As our Fintech DevOps & Systems Engineer, you'll be instrumental in upholding the integrity and efficiency of our technological landscape. Within our dynamic startup environment, you'll straddle multiple responsibilities-from managing multi-cloud resources, ensuring robust disaster recovery, to spearheading security initiatives and enabling rapid software deployments.

Key Responsibilities: * Multi-Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure Management:

• Administer, optimize, and secure resources on both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure.
• Seamlessly integrate cloud and on-premises environments, focusing on secure connectivity and performance.
• DevOps & Continuous Deployment:

• Design and refine CI/CD pipelines for reliable and efficient software releases.
• Facilitate tight-knit collaboration with the development team, integrating infrastructure insights to enhance our fintech solutions.
• Network & Connectivity:

• Establish and nurture our networking infrastructure, ensuring impeccable connectivity for our team and clientele.
• Implement secure tunneling protocols and practices to bridge diverse environments.
• Security, Compliance & Penetration Testing:

• Fortify our systems against potential fintech threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer data.
• Lead preparation for and actively participate in regular penetration testing exercises, identifying vulnerabilities and orchestrating timely remediation.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of fintech security best practices, implementing measures to continually bolster our security posture.
• Disaster Recovery (DR):

• Develop, refine, and test our disaster recovery strategies, ensuring rapid data and service restoration in crisis scenarios.
• Collaborate across teams to foster a culture of DR awareness and preparedness.
• Reliability & Performance:

• Proactively monitor system health, preemptively addressing potential issues to guarantee high availability.
• Drive initiatives to enhance the performance and scalability of our offerings, ensuring a frictionless user experience.
• Endpoint & Hardware Management:

• Oversee the safeguarding and routine maintenance of company hardware and employee devices.
• Implement strategies to protect against emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related domain. Pertinent cloud platform certifications are advantageous.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a preference for fintech exposure.
• Mastery over GCP and Azure, inclusive of their specific toolsets, services, and best practices.
• A well-rounded grasp of networking principles, security protocols, and fintech compliance requisites.
• A penchant for adaptability and rapid learning, especially given the multifaceted challenges intrinsic to startups.
• Exceptional problem-solving, teamwork, and communication prowess.
