Job Description

Responsible for issues relating to the bulk refuse system.
Key Responsibility Areas

• Responsible for the day-to-day issues relating to bulk refuse system.
• Gives the necessary safety lectures to staff.
• Performs a public relations service to existing customers and is pro-active in securing new bulk refuse customers. Works closely with waste consultants and the area cleansing officers in maintaining effective control over customer.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a complete information system in respect of all contracts.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a complete customer profile information system.
• Allocate required drivers and staff to tasks.
• Schedule all bulk refuse vehicles and bin deliveries.
• Co-ordinate the process of ordering (from stores), cleaning, repairing and distributing all solid waste containers. oSchedule the work required by Protection Services and any other internal Division.
• Co-ordinates the removal of refuse from garden refuse quotes to customers.
• Ensure that bulk refuse customer services are correctly passed onto the accounts section.

Essential Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• 1 Year relevant experience
• Computer Literacy

Preferred Requirements

• 2 Years relevant experience
