Job Description

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate should have experience in mould design, especially within a Toolroom environment, and demonstrate strong expertise in blow and injection moulding design.
Requirements:

Experience in mould design within a Toolroom environment.
Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Strong understanding of both blow moulding and injection moulding processes.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop moulds for the production of rigid plastic products.
Oversee entire projects from initial concept through to industrialisation.
Create components according to briefs and provide guidance on material selection and functionality.
Oversee mould trials and furnish all necessary information to trial personnel.
Engage in the sourcing of mould components.
Work closely with toolmakers throughout all stages of mould manufacturing.
Keep the mould/drawing database updated and well-maintained.
Address and resolve component and mould issues.
Lead various technical projects aimed at improving the toolroom and production processes.
Take initiative or collaborate on projects.
