Job Description
Requirements
- 5- 10 years exprience
- Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure designs meet specifications.
- Analyse design feasibility using simulations, FEA, or prototypes.
- Revise existing products to improve performance, cost-efficiency, or manufacturability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Support product lifecycle from concept to production and post-launch improvements.
- Generate technical documentation: drawings, BOMs, specifications, and manuals.
- Work with suppliers and clients to integrate design changes and customizations
- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Product Design Engineering
- Industrial Design (with engineering focus)
- CAD Software: Proficient in tools such as:
- SolidWorks
- AutoCAD
- CATIA
- Creo (PTC)
- Siemens NX
- Simulation/Analysis Tools:
- FEA (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- CFD (Fluent, COMSOL)
- Tolerance analysis and GD&T
- Manufacturing Knowledge:
- Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)
- Materials selection and mechanical properties
- Machining, casting, moulding, sheet metal, additive manufacturing
- Familiarity with manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO, ASME)
