Purpose of the job:
Responsible for engineering Integrity, and measurement and maximum focus on item/product delivery, with guidance.
Required Qualifications
- BSc. Mechanical Engineering Degree - Critical
- 3D CAD
- Creo advantageous
- 8 years of experience in manufacturing with a diverse knowledge of processes.
- Understand the process flow of Production in order to mitigate incorrect decisions.
- Understand the holistic product development life cycle from Studio to Production to assist in the decision making process.
- Ensure on time delivery for Engineering part of the product development.
- The Mid-Level Engineer/Structural Designer may at times need to work towards project specific timelines.
- Create 3D models and drawing packs for Manufacturing purposes.
- Communication Skills both verbal and written.
- Multitasking.
- Time management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good fault-finding / problem solving skills.
