Design Engineer

Our client in the Civil engineering industry is currently looking for a Design Engineer in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

Design (Roads, stormwater, water, sewer, telecoms, bulk earthworks.)
Develop specifications, BoQxe2x80x99s, cost estimates, and prepare final tender documentation.
Leading project designs.
Ensure that required drawing standards are maintained.
Construction supervision.
Deliver excellent client service while client facing.
Responsible for all designs from planning, conceptual design to detailed design and construction drawings specific to land development and municipal infrastructure.
Prepare reports required by the project.
Implementation of all relevant codes of practice.

Requirements:

BSc; BEng or B. Tech in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in land infrastructure, specific to municipal services/built environment, in both public and private sectors.
Civil 3D proficient.
ECSA Registration (Candidate or Professional)
