Requirements:

A Higher Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is required
3-5 years of experience in 3D modelling using Solidworks is critical.
Sheet Metal Experience is critical.
Knowledge of the laser-cutting process.
Understanding welding, fastener best practices, powder coating, and sealing is critical.
Electrical and P&ID experience is a bonus.
Experience with SolidWorks Visualize or similar rendering software is a bonus.
Experience using PDM is a bonus.
Good communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Skilled use of Google Suite & Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:

Technical and instructional 2D Assembly drawings
Flat pattern drawings
BOMs (Bills of Materials)
Ensure tasks meet deadlines.
Liaise with production to improve existing products.
Ensure all drawings comply with office standards Take ownership and responsibility for projects.
Maintain a logical filing system Generate Standard Operating Procedures.
Action Engineering Change Requests on existing products.
