Play an active role as part of the School Management Team (SMT).
Take responsibility for learner discipline and behaviour management across the high school.
Enforce, review, and refine the school's code of conduct and discipline policies.
Guide and support teachers in building effective classroom management strategies.
Chair internal disciplinary processes and represent the school in external hearings when required.
Champion initiatives that encourage positive learner behaviour and well-being.
Oversee pastoral care programmes, ensuring learners' social, emotional, and academic needs are supported.
Collaborate closely with teachers and foster engagement in co-curricular activities.
Coordinate and manage Bible Education lessons across the school.
Build strong partnerships with parents, guardians, and external professionals when necessary.
Maintain comprehensive records of disciplinary processes and pastoral care interventions.
Provide the Principal with regular updates on discipline and pastoral care matters.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
5-10 years' experience in a high school environment.
Currently serving as a Deputy Principal, Head of Department, or Grade Head.
SACE registration
Familiarity with the IEB curriculum.
Previous experience in the private school sector will be an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
