To provide and manage an overall administrative, logistical and specialist technical function to the Durban Metropolitan Police Service.
Key Responsibility Areas
Planning the divisional activities, analysing and researching appropriate programme/ information and determining short-, medium- and long-term goals.
Group allocated resources in line with budgetary constraints, define areas of responsibility and resolve conflicts that may arise.
Monitoring, evaluating and reviewing performance against targets and set standards.
Constant liaison with relevant internal and external related functional organisations.
Resolving complex problem areas as it relates to the Division.
Directs all financial, administrative and logistic functions of the service Directorate.
Plan, lead, organise and direct the service directorate Technical Strategic planning and evaluation function.
Manage line functional human capital management practices.
Assess and report on the financial implications of the divisions activities.
Keep abreast with relevant legislation and make suggestions to the Director.
Formulate strategic direction for the Service Directorate in conjunction with the Director.

Essential Requirements
Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7) in Policing or any other related and equivalent qualification.
Valid motor vehicle driving license.
8 years relevant experience at a management level of which 3 years must be at a Brigadier level.
