We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated

Deputy Landscaping Manager

to join the Management team based at Sitari Country Estate.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assist Landscape Manager with supervision and coordinating of an outsourced team of 50 staff. Monitor tree health, turfgrass, and irrigation systems. Identify and treat pest and disease issues using approved methods. Conduct machinery and equipment audits; coordinate repairs and servicing. Manage task allocation, attendance reporting, and quality control. Track and record fuel usage and procurement accurately. Maintain stock control of consumables and assist with ordering fertilizers, compost, and chemicals. Prepare operational reports for management review.

Requirements:

Must reside in Somerset West or within a 20 minute commute thereof. Minimum of 5 years' landscaping experience, including 2 years in a supervisory/management role. Formal tertiary qualification in Horticulture/Landscaping would be advantageous. Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills. Reliable and proactive.
