Job Description
A reputable Dental Laboratory in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dental Technician to join their dynamic team.
This full-time position requires a technician with strong technical ability, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to produce consistently high-quality work.
The ideal candidate must have 8-10 years of experience, be registered with the SADTC, and be able to provide a portfolio of previous cases to demonstrate work quality.
Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate must have:
- 8-10 years of experience as a Dental Technician
- Registration with the council (SADTC)
- A portfolio of previous cases to showcase workmanship
- Strong communication skills
- CAD/CAM design and milling
- Characterisation of crowns, bridges, and long-span bridges
- Staining and glazing
- Wax-up, burnout, and press furnacing
- Cutback and layering techniques
- Basic lab work including occlusal guards and dentures
Remuneration: R30 000 per month (Final offer may depend on experience and work quality.)
Start Date: Preferably January/New Year start
